Compact information for stand constructors

The maximum permissible height for structures or advertising material of all stand constructions (incl. signs, banners and other advertising and construction elements) is set at 5.00 m, insofar as this is permitted by the hall ceiling and any fixed structures that may be present. A transgression of the maximum stand height is possible, depending on the height of the hall and after special acceptance by Koelnmesse. As long as the technical guidelines are observed when designing and erecting stands, there is no need to submit for acceptance documents for one-storey stands that do not exceed the permitted construction height. All other stands and constructions must be accepted. The regulations regarding the acceptance of stand construction and requesting such acceptance are given in the Technical Guidelines, point 4.2.

The maximum height for structures or advertising material of all stand constructions in passages and boulevards is 3.00 m.

The application for a stand construction acceptance is made exclusively via the Koelnmesse digital platform (Delegatis).

For this purpose, aprox. 12 weeks before construction starts the exhibitor will be sent an e-mail with an individual link to the digital questionnaire. The questionnaire must be completed in time, but at least 6 weeks before the start of construction period. If verifiable documents are required for acceptance, these will be requested in the questionnaire and must be uploaded there. Verifiable documents may include dimensioned floor plans, views and constructive sections. In special cases, e.g. when constructing a double storey, a static calculation or further certificates may be necessary.
