As the new premium trade fair for exclusive interior design solutions in the residential, hospitality and contract business segments, idd Cologne seeks to synchronise the creative power of the industry with the heartbeat of the city. From 26 to 29 October 2025, join countless guests from around the world to find inspiration and reinvent the future of interior design – side by side with the best in your field.

Urban-only

As an innovative “urban-only” format, idd cologne aims to bring high-quality interior design solutions directly to the places where people live, work and create. In close cooperation with the Association of the German Furniture Industry (VDM) and leading industry partners, Cologne will become a stage for premium design: authentic, accessible and packed with inspiration.

Exhibitor Locations

idd cologne is taking brand presentation in a new direction: instead of booking stands in traditional exhibition halls, companies will showcase their products at a selection of locations throughout the city of Cologne. One of the key venues will be Design Post Köln: a showroom that’s open all year round and a new Koelnmesse cooperation partner. Currently, 35 highly regarded brands are signed up to present their installations on an area spanning more than 3,500 m² – an ideal environment in which to bring interior design to life at the highest level. Architectural highlights such as the listed Stoff-Pavillon Moeller building will complement the concept. Plans are underway to involve further exhibition venues.

Showrooms & Store-Partners

More than 25 partners from the premium retail segment and Cologne’s design scene will bring interior design into the heart of the city, ranging from established furniture stores and creative pop-up concepts to inspiring showrooms and other design hotspots. A wide range of formats will invite audiences to discover interior design from new perspectives – curated and implemented by the partners themselves. Each showcase will be unique, reflecting the individual style and design philosophy of the particular location.
