Important information regarding travel by public transport

From October 27 to 31, 2026, there will be service disruptions on light rail lines 1 and 9 due to construction work. The lines will be split between Neumarkt and Bahnhof Deutz/Messe.

As alternatives for Design Post, we recommend:

Design Post Köln is within walking distance KVB tram stop Bahnhof Deutz (train station)/LANXESS Arena, on tram lines 3 and 4.

Replacement Bus Line 101: Runs between Neumarkt and Deutz/Messe Station, stopping at Neumarkt, Heumarkt, Deutzer Freiheit, Deutz/Messe Station, and Koelnmesse.

Lines 1 and 9: In the urban area on the right bank of the Rhein Line 1 trams run between the terminal stop “Bensberg” and the subway station “Bahnhof Deutz/Messe.”

Line 9 trams run between their terminal stop “Königsforst” and the subway station “Bahnhof Deutz/Messe.”

Check connection

For WallStudio Cologne, we recommend:

From Cologne Central Station, take KVB line 16 to Chlodwigplatz. From there, WallStudio Cologne is just a few minutes’ walk away.

Alternatively, you can take lines 15 or 16 to Ulrepforte.

As alternatives for machwerkhaus, we recommend:

Take S-Bahn (local rail) lines S19 or S12 or Regionalbahn (regional train) line RB25 via Bahnhof Deutz/Messe (Deutz train station/trade fair grounds) to the Köln Trimbornstraße stop.

Arriving by car and parking

If you are travelling by car, take the A 1, A 3, A 4, A 57, A 59, A 555 or A 559 motorways and park conveniently at P20, the trade fair car park.
