With inspiring design, high-quality brands and a unique “urban-only” concept, idd cologne is sending a clear signal for the future, right from its very first edition in the heart of Cologne. As the new premium trade fair for exclusive interior design solutions in the residential, hospitality and contract business segments, idd Cologne seeks to synchronise the creative power of the industry with the heartbeat of the city. From 26 to 29 October 2025, be inspired by around 100 design brands, a themed information program, and a wide range of networking opportunities, and help shape the future of interior design.

Urban-only

As an innovative “urban-only” format, idd cologne aims to bring high-quality interior design solutions directly to the places where people live, work and create. In close cooperation with the Association of the German Furniture Industry (VDM) and leading industry partners, Cologne will become a stage for premium design: authentic, accessible and packed with inspiration.

Exhibitor locations

idd cologne is taking brand presentation in a new direction: instead of booking stands in traditional exhibition halls, companies will showcase their products at a selection of locations throughout the city of Cologne. One of the key venues will be Design Post Köln: a showroom that’s open all year round and a new Koelnmesse cooperation partner. Currently, more than 40 highly regarded brands are signed up to present their installations on an area spanning more than 3,500 m² – an ideal environment in which to bring interior design to life at the highest level. Architectural highlights such as the listed Stoff-Pavillon Moeller building and machwerkhaus köln will complement the concept.
